Arnson currently holds at At Large position, representing pulse growers in North Dakota. He was elected in 2017.  He served as Treasurer from 2018 to 2021 and as NPGA President since January 2021.Arson holds an At Large position, representing pulse growers in North Dakota.  Arson also serves on Williams County Township Board and Williams County Weed Control Board.

Arnson is a 4^th generation farmer and currently farms with his parents, Robert & Lori on their family farm northwest of Williston, ND. Arnson has been planting pulses since 2003. Arnson also plants lentils, chickpeas, durum and canola.
 

When Arnson is not farming he enjoys going to the lake, golfing, hunting and snowmobiling.
