Board of Directors

Ryan Kopp- District III
Fairview, Montana

Ryan is a second-generation farmer located about 15 miles west of Fairview, Montana, where he grows spring wheat, durum, yellow peas, and lentils, alongside a cow-calf operation. He farms with his father Ron and brother-in-law Luke, with the next generation already starting to lend a hand. With deep farming roots tracing back to his great-great-grandfather’s homestead, Ryan is passionate about the benefits pulse crops bring to soil health and farm sustainability. A longtime pulse grower, he sees potential in the industry’s future through stronger trade relationships and local infrastructure development. Serving on the NPGA Board allows him to dive deeper into research, herbicide use, and marketing strategies. Outside of agriculture, Ryan is a Senior Project Manager at Interstate Engineering and actively involved in his community as President of the Sidney Area Chamber of Commerce and Agriculture and a Board Trustee for the Fairview School District.
