Montana Pulse Advisory Committee
Created by a vote of Montana pulse crop producers, the Pulse Crop Research & Market Development Program was put into place to address pulse producer need and issues in Montana. The program will be funded by a check-off on all Montana grown dry peas, lentils, chickpeas and fava beans.
The check-off program will be administered by the Montana Department of Agriculture. To help oversee the program, a Pulse Crop Advisory Committee was appointed to advise the Department of Agriculture of current and future pulse industry issues. Those appointed to the committee by Ron de Yong, Director of the Montana Department of Agriculture are listed below.
